During the quote process and within your customer account, your personal data is transmitted securely over the internet using SSL protocol (Secure Sockets Layer, key exchange: RSA 1024 bit; encryption of user data: Triple DES 1024 bit). You can recognize a secure connection by the way the browser address is displayed—it starts with "https://..." instead of "http://..." and a padlock appears at the bottom right of the window. We secure our website and systems with technical and organizational measures to prevent loss, irreversible damage, access, modification, or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons.
Access to your customer account is only possible after entering your personal password. You must always keep your access codes confidential and close the browser window or mobile applications after ending your session with us, especially if you share the device with others.

As data protection is a high priority for AppMyCar, we strictly comply with the legal provisions of the IEC17020 standard and GDPR guidelines when collecting, processing, and using data. In principle, you can use our website and mobile applications without providing any personal data.
